A New Way To Schedule an Absence or Makeup
Meet CAMPttendance!
For a while now, we’ve been thinking about how to make scheduling absences and make up days easier for our families. We love talking with you in the office, but we wanted to give you another option! We are excited to be rolling out Campttendance! This is a proprietary software that we have built from the ground up to help us handle all things attendance more easily and quickly.
Without getting into the weeds, here are the things you can do on the app:
These are the main ways to use the app:

Schedule an Absence:
you can schedule an absence the morning of or ahead of time using the app. This will add a “credit” to be used for a makeup day.

Schedule a Makeup Day:
you can schedule a makeup through the app, once you have scheduled an absence. The app will use up one of the “credits” from the absence to let you schedule the makeup.

Drop Off Late / Pick Up Early:
you can let us know that morning that you will be bringing your camper to camp a little later or picking them up early (before 2pm).

Change the Stop on Your Same Bus Route:
if you find that you are going to miss your stop, or simply want to drop off at a different stop on your same bus route, or pick up at a different stop on your same bus route, you can do that right in the app. The app will give you a link to get directions from your current location to the new stop location!

Change to Pick Up/Drop Off at Camp:
if you need to drive your camper to camp or pick them up during normal before and after care hours, you can let us know the day of or ahead of time, right in the app.
Please note that Campttendance is currently in beta, which means the app will likely still have a few bugs that we need to work through. Our team is ready to make updates and adjustments throughout the session, but we appreciate your patience as we transition systems onto this new platform!

Answers to a few commonly asked questions about the Campttendance app
Your account is synced with the email addresses you provided when you registered your camper. If you need to make a change, please give us a call!
No, you do not need to use the app! You are welcome to give the office a call to make any scheduling changes.
Not at this time. To schedule an extra day, you will need to call the office, and they will be able to help you to get that scheduled.
Your verification code will go to the email address that you provided when you enrolled your camper. Please be sure to check your spam folder. IF that email address is no longer accessible, please give the office a call and we can update your account.
You will need to give the office a call to add additional approved pickup people.
We looked at fourteen different titles and all of them were missing pieces that we felt were key to the success of the app. While it may take a little time to get the app exactly where we want it to be, we are confident that having a parent component, a bus component, a group counselor component and an admin portal for our office team, were vital in continuing to provide the safest high quality experience we could for you and your campers.

Once You’ve Claimed Your Account
follow these instructions to save our web app on your Home Screen
- Open Safari or Chrome.
- Go to ck.camp/app.
- Tap the Share button on the bottom of the page.
- In the list of options that appear, scroll down until you see Add to Home Screen.
- Open Chrome.
- Go to ck.camp/app.
- On the right of the address bar, tap More -> Add to home screen.
- Install.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
